Rooting The Senses

An Ancestral Wellspring of Deep Listening & Ancient Sight

Rooted Awareness_edited.jpg

Long before the new ways and their maps, we knew how to listen. We listened with our skin, our breath, our bones, and the ground beneath us. Our seeing was not separate from the body or the earth—it lived in relationship with the land, the Ancestors, and the rhythms that guided life.

This gathering is for those who carry the gift of the thin veil, the ones who hear what others miss. Those who sense that their knowing is not a strange burden to carry alone, but an inheritance of the blood.

Many are encouraged to open further, develop their gifts, or interpret what they receive, without first learning the nature of their well, how to sit with what comes to visit, or how to recognize what belongs to them and what belongs to the winds.

Not everything that opens is ready, and not everything that is sensed is meant to be acted on.

Without a root or a guide, a gift can become a flood leaving one untethered or heavy with spirits that are not their own.

This gathering is a return to the roots of our Ancestors.

In the Old Ways, to see was to serve. What you sensed mattered, not because it made you special, but because it affected and belonged to the whole.

Rather than seeking more sight, this 10-week immersion fortifies your vessel so you may hold and trust what is already there.

Rooted in the body, in relationship with the earth, and in ancestral ways of sensing, you are guided back to the first song—the place where the earth speaks through the bone: within you.

Is The Hearth Calling You?

  • Do you already hear the whispers in the wind or feel the stirrings of the unseen in the still moments of your day?

  • Are you seeking yet another classroom to collect tools or are you ready to start using them to build?

  • Are you ready to tend to your gifts but know that your vessel must first be forged with strong clay and deep roots?

  • Do you seek the ancient names for the movements that already dance within your body?

  • Does your soul prefer the slow, steady walk of the land rather than the frantic rush of the quick-fire?

  • Are you prepared to listen to the wisdom of your own fatigue and honor the threshold when your spirit needs to rest?

  • Do you value the honest weight of the bone and the truth of the soil more than the performance of the sacred?

  • Are you ready to drink from your own well and trust the song that rises from your own bones?

What We Will Tend Together

This walk centers on how you sit with the movements of the spirit. Those whispers that stir in the marrow, in the breath, and in the ancient ways of knowing that existed before language was born.

Across the 10 weeks, you will practice:

  • Holding the Silence. Allowing the many voices, the images, the songs, and the subtle stirrings to settle within you without the need to pin them down or give them a name too soon.

  • Discerning the Truth. Feeling the difference between a true visitation of the senses and the stories the mind likes to weave around them.

  • Remaining at the Hearth. Staying rooted in the physical vessel as your place of power, even when the winds of the unseen blow strong or strange.

  • Walking at the Speed of the Land. Moving slow enough so your spirit stays tucked within your skin, ensuring your power remains your own.

  • Tending the Threshold. Learning to wait before you speak or move, especially when the pull of the 'quick-fire' tries to hurry your spirit.

  • Watching the Seasons of the Body. Witnessing how your own nature gathers and answers the world over time.

  • Coming Home. Returning your feet to the earth and your breath to the trees whenever the sight becomes too heavy, or the mind begins to wander.

This immersion strengthens your bones. Over time, you will find your sight becomes a steady companion, clearer, truer, and easier to carry without needing to turn away from your gift or be consumed by it.

For those who may later be called to serve as Seers, Bone-Speakers, or Oracles for their people, this walk provides the necessary rooting. Before we can speak for the spirits, we must first learn how to stand as a person who is rooted.

The Hearth-Keeper

Malindora is a Medium, a Ritualist, and a Tender of the Ancient Body.

Since childhood, she has lived with an open door to the Unseen;  a gift carried in her lineage and honed through a life of walking the path of the Ancestors. This way of being is not a skill she learned, but an ability she was initiated into.

Her work is to sit beside you as you anchor your own perceptions back into the marrow, cultivating a deep, bone-level listening that allows you to stand firm in your own truth. She does not tell you what to see or how to know; instead, she helps you find your own footing, restoring the Sovereignty of the Soul so that trust in your own unique way of sensing can grow with the steadiness of the mountain and the clarity of the deep well.
