The Senses: Awareness & Discernment

An embodied foundation rooted in perception, The Senses is an experiential course designed for highly sensitive, naturally intuitive people who already perceive more than they can make sense of.
Rather than amplifying perception or encouraging performance, the course supports the maturation of sensitivity through embodied listening—so intuitive awareness becomes grounded, discerning, and trustworthy, settling into embodied wisdom over time.
What This Course Offers
The Senses: Awareness & Discernment is a 10 week experiential course exploring perception as a lived, embodied process. Through a balance of concise teaching and guided experiential practices, participants develop shared language for perceptual experience and learn to differentiate physical sensation, emotional feeling, mental imagery, and subtle awareness.
The course emphasizes grounding awareness in the body and cultivating discernment around how perception is noticed, interpreted, and engaged. Widely recognized perceptual channels—including sensory, somatic, and subtle modes of perception—are introduced without hierarchy or pressure to master them.
Throughout the course, the focus remains on clarity, responsibility, and care. By strengthening embodied awareness and self-regulation, participants learn to relate to perception in ways that support steadiness and self-trust, rather than overwhelm or confusion.
The Course Journey
The Senses unfolds gradually, beginning with foundational orientation to perception and embodied awareness. Early sessions focus on slowing down, establishing shared language, and developing steadiness in how perception is noticed and held.
As the course progresses, you will explore different ways perception may arise, while continually returning to your body as the stabilizing reference point. Emphasis is placed on pacing, self-regulation, and discernment, so awareness can deepen without overwhelm.
The course arc supports clarity and self-trust by prioritizing grounded presence over intensity or interpretation. Perceptual awareness is allowed to mature naturally, without pressure to define, explain, or perform.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:
-
Recognize their baseline perceptual state and notice when it shifts
-
Distinguish between physical sensation, emotional experience, mental imagery, and subtle perception
-
Identify which perceptual channels are most active in their own experience
-
Pause before interpreting perceptual information
-
Ground and orient when perception becomes unclear or overwhelming
-
Engage perceptual awareness with responsibility and ethical consideration
-
Maintain embodied presence while noticing subtle or non-ordinary perception

Foundations Before Application
Many people who experience intuitive, psychic, or mediumistic perception struggle not because of a lack of ability, but because of insufficient grounding, discernment, and embodied awareness. Without these foundations, sensitivity can become confusing, destabilizing, or even frightening--rather than clarifying.
This course addresses those foundations directly. While some participants may later choose to pursue intuitive or mediumistic development, The Senses: Awareness & Discernment does not train, activate, or certify psychic or mediumistic practice. Instead, it establishes the perceptual literacy, self-regulation, and ethical grounding required for such work to unfold responsibly, should a participant choose to continue in that direction.
No outcomes are promised, and no continuation is required. This course is designed to stand on its own as a complete and sufficient foundation in perceptual awareness and discernment.
